BREAKING: John Donaldson passes away

Former People’s National Movement (PNM) Cabinet Minister, John Donaldson, passed away this morning at the St Clair Medical Centre, Port of Spain.

 

He was 71 years old and was known to have been ailing for some time.

 

Donaldson served as Minister of National Security and Minister of Foreign Affairs under the PNM administration.

 

He was a longstanding executive member of the Opposition and once held the post of party chairman.
