The Integrity Commission has cleared former attorney general John Jeremie of an alleged breach of the Integrity in Public Life Act. The probe had been looking into Jeremie's links to a land deal. However, a letter from the commission to Jeremie, dated January 23, 2013, and signed by Registrar Martin Farrell, confirmed he had been cleared after the investigations were completed.
It read in part: "The Commission has investigated the allegation and has arrived at the opinion that there has been no breach of the Integrity in Public Life Act."
