To­ba­go Catholic Priest, Fa­ther Steve Dun­can, be­lieves Min­is­ter of Na­tion­al Se­cu­ri­ty Jack Warn­er should re­flect on his po­si­tion in Gov­ern­ment in light of the al­le­ga­tions sur­round­ing him.

Warn­er has been mum since news re­ports be­gan cir­cu­lat­ing that his son, Daryan, had agreed to as­sist the FBI and IRS in a probe in­to al­le­ga­tion of cor­rup­tion in the af­fairs of Fi­fa and the Con­fed­er­a­tion of North, Cen­tral Amer­i­can and Caribbean As­so­ci­a­tion Foot­ball (Con­ca­caf).

Speak­ing to the me­dia fol­low­ing the re-en­act­ment of Christ's jour­ney to Cal­vary yes­ter­day, Dun­can said due to the re­peat­ed calls by the na­tion, the truth should pre­vail in the spir­it of East­er.

He said there was cause for re­flec­tion by Warn­er in or­der for him to see the ve­rac­i­ty of the sit­u­a­tion."Some­times there are pro­ce­dures em­ployed you may not al­ways be able to de­fine and to de­ter­mine what the truth is in the sit­u­a­tion, so I think this East­er time truth should pre­vail and that truth should come about from an earnest and a hint of re­flec­tion on the self, not on­ly in terms of Mr Warn­er, but in terms of all in­di­vid­u­als, and so that we can live and re­flect the truth that we pro­fess in Je­sus Christ," he said.

Catholics in To­ba­go jour­neyed from Cin­na­mon Hill to the Ro­man Catholic Church in Ma­son Hall in To­ba­go dur­ing yes­ter­day's Good Fri­day fes­tiv­i­ties.Fa­ther Dun­can said this was his first re-en­act­ment fol­low­ing his ap­point­ment in Oc­to­ber 2012, adding there was a good turnout."It was a good turnout in re­la­tion to what hap­pened in the pre­vi­ous years and I re­al­ly thought that the parish­ioners and those who joined us en­tered in­to the spir­it of the pro­ces­sion, and that ba­si­cal­ly was to take what we read in the scrip­tures and in­ter­pret them in con­tem­po­rary lan­guage so that we are able to unite our­selves more," he said.
