Leader of the Op­po­si­tion Dr Kei­th Row­ley yes­ter­day sub­mit­ted a mo­tion of no con­fi­dence in the PP Gov­ern­ment for pos­si­ble de­bate on May 24, the third an­niver­sary of the Gov­ern­ment's elec­tion.The mo­tion was sub­mit­ted to the Par­lia­ment yes­ter­day and has to await ap­proval from Speak­er Wade Mark be­fore it can qual­i­fy. The Op­po­si­tion said de­tails of the pri­vate mo­tion would be re­leased sub­se­quent­ly.

Row­ley has pre­vi­ous­ly moved a mo­tion of no con­fi­dence in Prime Min­is­ter Kam­la Per­sad-Bisses­sar and a mo­tion against her al­leged in­abil­i­ty to act against for­mer Na­tion­al Se­cu­ri­ty Min­is­ter Jack Warn­er.Both mo­tions were de­feat­ed.
