Double murder in Central
Police are probing the country's latest double murder, after a worker at Brasso Pedro Estate No. 2 in Mamoral stumbled across the bullet-riddled body of a man on the estate this morning.
A second victim, a woman, was found in nearby bushes later this morning by a team of officers led by head of Homicide, Supt. Cyril Harry.
Both victims are believed to be foreigners and in their thirties.
Police sources said they flew into the country from Margarita on September 29 and were killed on the morning of October 1.
Ammunition shell cases found on the scene appeared to be from a 9mm handgun.
A Toyota Corolla found near the scene is believed to have been used by the killer to transport the bodies to the heavily forested area where they were later discovered.
Police are continuing to investigate.
