T&T national reported missing in Jamaica
Jamaica police are investigating the disappearance of Trinidadian Keron Martin Fraser who went missing a day after he arrived in that country, this week. According to a report published in the Jamaica Observer yesterday, when Fraser arrived in Jamaica on Monday, he rented a car to go to an undisclosed location. Fraser’s friend reported him missing after he failed to return the next day.
“A search was launched and on Wednesday, the police intercepted the rented vehicle with two men aboard. The men, who are 22 and 19 years old have been taken into custody for questioning,” the report said. Investigators said they suspect foul play in Fraser’s disappearance. When contacted yesterday, T&T’s High Commissioner to Jamaica Dr Iva Gloudon said her staff were contacted by investigators on Thursday night.
“We are working with them to establish the details and will be able to comment only when we are in possession of all of the facts,” Gloudon said.
