A 30-year-old man was killed in a shooting near his home in East Dry River, Port-of-Spain on Sunday night.
According to police reports, around 10.30 pm residents of Clifton Hill Circular Road, East Dry River, reported hearing a volley of gunshots.
Officers of the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) responded and while searching the area they found a man lying unconscious in a drain with gunshot wounds to his head, chest and back.
The victim, who was later identified as Clifton Hill resident Hayden Figaro, was taken to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital, where he died.
Immediately after the shooting, police searched the area for Figaro's attackers. However, they came up empty-handed.
Homicide detectives said Figaro was not know to police and a motive for his murder is yet to be determined.
Figaro's murder pushed the murder toll to 368, according to a tally complied by the T&T Guardian.
Insp Sahadeo Singh and detectives of the Besson Street CID are continuing investigations.
