Canadian found dead in Curepe
Homicide detectives are now investigating the country’s latest murder, which occurred some time Tuesday afternoon.
According to police reports, Andrew Lawrence, a Canadian national, was found dead at a house in Southern Main Road Curepe with gun shots to the back of the head.
Police believe he was killed in a botched robbery.
Officers said a relative of Lawrence, 31, returned home around 5.30 pm yesterday and discovered the man’s body. He was shot once to the back of the head with the bullet lodged in his brain.
Police said Lawrence was from French Canada.
