My name is Christine Patrick and I'm the executive assistant to the busiest man on Earth.
I got the name Chrissy Honey years ago in Tobago. Whenever people, being males, spoke to me, they would always say "Chrissy, Honey." So my friend was like, I would just call you Chrissy Honey.
I have a beautiful little princess by the name of Tia-Marie who is six years old. People always ask if she's named after the liqueur. I am not married and don't ever intend to. Unfortunately her dad and I don't speak anymore. He takes great care of his princess, though, and I get along great with his entire family still. We are like blood.
I lost my dad at the age of 22. He was my everything. I miss him every day of my life. I come from a family of six children and there's a 15-year gap between my eldest sister and me. So I was extremely close with my daddy, was such a daddy's princess, spoilt beyond rotten. He died two years before Tia-Marie was born, but I definitely know in my heart he knows her and looks over her.
I remember my mommy rushing into my room saying, "Wake up! Your father can't breathe!" My father had a sudden, massive heart attack and literally died gasping in my hands. I was totally distraught. It was the most shocking thing I have ever seen before my eyes. No one is ever prepared for their loved ones to depart and I was totally not prepared for that, "like a thief in the night." My entire family was really messed up. I don't think I can ever get over his death, up to now.
Tia-Marie came at a point when I felt I had no care for this world after my daddy left. I believe she was sent to comfort me and give me a reason to smile again. I don't want any more kids. I just have this unexplainable bond with Tia-Marie.
I love to cuddle up in bed and watch a DVD. Probably with company of the opposite sex.
My family are "staunch" Roman Catholics. I go to church whenever I get a chance, but I definitely pray every day.
Every religion believes theirs is the "one true way to God," but it's one God, and people observe him differently. He views us all as his children. It's what's in your heart [that matters]. He doesn't discriminate religion or race.
I love heights and the adrenaline rush of aircraft. I have a few friends who are pilots, and one of them rented a two-seater one weekend and we flew around. That made me fall in love even more with flying. I want to get my private and then my commercial pilot's licence.I find it easy to say I am sorry if I am the wrong person in the situation. If not, that word isn't gonna come out of my mouth. I cuss when I get really angry but, most times, I substitute words like "smurf" for the F-word.
I am the executive assistant to "the busiest man on Earth" and one of the coolest bosses anyone could ever dream of having. He has a very high portfolio in many businesses, in Trinidad and international, and he manages to perfect them all with great speed. I keep him organised and up-to-date on whatever we are working on.
Smart phones are the greatest inventions ever. When you can have your boss on BBM and WhatsApp, it's easy to work from anywhere.
The best part of my job is every single day. And there is NO worst part.
The only thing that worries me is when my daughter's dad is taking her back home. I worry about accidents and all that crap, so I don't sleep until I get a call saying she is back safe at home.
I don't know of anywhere in the world like Trinidad, that people are free to do whatever.
A Trini is full of cultural flavour you recognise anywhere in the world just by the way they carry themselves. We are a very friendly and free-spirited people and I am proud to be a Trini.
To me, Trinidad & Tobago means Freedom, with a capital F. We're still blessed, compared to many countries.
