Armed men staged an attack on a Trinidad-owned tugboat in Guyana this morning, shattering its navigational equipment and threatening to burn the vessel.
Guyanese news site Demerara Waves is reporting that the incident occurred aboard the Motor Tug Seven Mako.
The vessel, owned by the Trinidad-based Coastal Shipping, and registered in Antigua and Barbuda, arrived in Guyana on January 16.
