Cops still hunting for mother of disposed foetus
Investigators are still trying to find the mother of a 20-week foetus found in a waste treatment plant in Princes Town on Friday. The discovery was made around 10.45 am by the supervisor of Water and Sewerage Authority plant at Buen Intento. Investigators believe the male foetus was flushed down a toilet. The sewer lines are connected to a nearby housing development, police were told.
The supervisor told police that the plant was checked daily, and he believed it was flushed down the toilet after they conducted their daily check of the plant on Friday. WPC Valentine of the Princes Town Police Station is investigating.
