Bus Route open to all motorists

Tuesday, March 4, 2014

Motorists will be allowed to use the Priority Bus Route today.  An official from the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure confirmed yesterday that the Bus Route will be opened to the general public during the two days of Carnival to allow for a smoother flow of traffic out of Port-of-Spain. Usually, only specially authorised vehicles can use the Priority Bus Route. However, the temporary lift on restrictions which came into effect midnight Carnival Monday will remain in force until 3 am on Ash Wednesday.
