Penal murder suspect held
Police yesterday detained a suspect in the stabbing death of Penal father of six Knolly Hudlin who was killed at his home on Carnival Tuesday, metres away from the police station. A funeral service for Hudlin, 62, will be held at 11 am today at Belgroves Funeral Home, Coffee Street, San Fernando. His alleged killer was held at around 4 am at a house in Princes Town. Hudlin, 62, was stabbed to death around 2.30 pm last Tuesday by a close male relative who had breached a protection order.
Relatives claimed for three hours before the stabbing they were calling the Penal police station for help after the suspect went to Hudlin’s home. They turned up at the home only after Hudlin had been stabbed. Investigations are continuing.
