PM reshuffles Cabinet...after two ministers go in one week
Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has annouced two ministerial reassignments.
Senator Gerry Hadeed is now Minister of Tourism, while Senator Vasant Bharath is now Minister of Trade, Investments and Communications.
Hadeed was previously Minister of Communications, while Bharath's portfolio was previously Trade, Industry and Investment.
The PM announced the changes hours after she accepted the resignation of Chandresh Sharma, Minister of Tourism and less than a week after she fired Minister of the People and Social Development Glenn Ramadharsingh.
On Wednesday, Persad-Bissessar took over the portfolio of People and Social Development.
