Petit Valley killing pushes toll to 115
The murder list has increased by one, pushing it to 115, with the shooting death of a Petit Valley man yesterday afternoon. Sheldon Barrow was shot dead at Sparrow Drive, Petit Valley.Barrow, who police said was known to be involved in criminal activity, was with some men at Hummingbird Circular around 4.30 pm when two men approached. Before they could open fire the group dispersed but the men chased Barrow and cornered him a short distance away where they shot him dead. The murder toll for the same period last year stood at 105.
