Biker killed in collision
A motorcyclist was killed instantly early yesterday during a collision with a car at Wallerfield, early this morning. The dead man was identified as Roshan “D Bike Doctor” Rampersad, of Moonan Road, Wallerfield. Police said the motorcyclist was killed instantly after he collided with a car near the intersection of the Eastern Main Road and Antigua Road. The accident occurred shortly before 2 am.
Arima police said when they responded they saw a silver Mitsubishi Lancer motorcar facing east on the western bound lane with the front damaged. Police said a Suzuki motorcycle was lying on the edge of the grass on the northern side of the road and another motorcycle lying on the side of the road. Rampersad’s body was on the ground with his right arm completely severed. The limb was found a short distance away. Acting Sgt Joseph continuing investigations.
