Overall market activity resulted from trading in 11 securities of which four advanced, three declined and four traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 105,283 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $4,965,456.58. Scotiabank T&T Ltd was the volume leader with 61,500 shares changing hands for a value of $4,305,000, followed by Angostura Holdings Ltd with a volume of 25,300 shares being traded for $322,575. GraceKennedy Ltd contributed 11,000 shares with a value of $38,500, while Scotia Investments Jamaica Ltd added 2,412 shares valued at $3,859.20. One Caribbean Media Ltd enjoyed the day's largest gain, increasing $0.03 to end the day at $21.03. Conversely, GraceKennedy Ltd suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.10 to close at $3.50. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 86,460 shares valued at $1,882,648.87. It declined by $0.07 to end at $21.77.
