Three days af­ter be­ing ar­rest­ed un­der sus­pi­cion of gang-re­lat­ed ac­tiv­i­ties the two close male rel­a­tives of Cara­po Life Sport co-or­di­na­tor Ra­jaee Ali were re­leased with­out charges yes­ter­day.The men were ar­rest­ed on Mon­day at their home in Mal­abar. Mem­bers of the Crim­i­nal Gang and In­tel­li­gence Unit picked up the men be­fore de­tain­ing two oth­er men in Diego Mar­tin who were al­so linked to a Cara­po mosque. They too were freed yes­ter­day.The four men were kept in sep­a­rate cells at the San Juan, Barataria and Cen­tral Po­lice Sta­tions.Ali, a for­mer mur­der ac­cused, was ar­rest­ed in re­la­tion to sim­i­lar of­fences ear­li­er this year and af­ter spend­ing sev­er­al days in po­lice cus­tody was al­so re­leased with­out be­ing charged.
