Suspect held in courier’s murder
A major underworld figure from south Trinidad, linked to robbery heists and organised crime, was arrested by Central Division Police in a Couva apartment yesterday for the kidnapping and murder of Freeport courier Devindra Siewdass. Police said the 33-year old suspect was held in an apartment in Mc Bean Local Road. Siewdass, 29, went missing on March 20 after he got a call from someone asking him to meet him at a certain location.
