Monday, July 28, 2014

A man was killed in an accident on the Lady Young Road, Morvant, yesterday, and his female passenger is being treated at hospital. Around 2 pm, Wayne Llewellyn was driving his red Mitsubishi Lancer north along Lady Young road when he collided with a Nissan SUV, police said. Witnesses says the car was attempting to overtake traffic when it hit the SUV.

Llewellyn died at the scene while  Kimberly Pierre was taken to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, Mt Hope. Officers from the Morvant Fire Station responded to the accident and had to use hydraulic cutting equipment to take out both occupants from the mangled vehicle.
