Chairman of the COP, Nicole Dyer-Griffith is calling on all citizens to place country first and seek to build the nation with love.In her first Christmas message since being elected to the post unopposed in October, Dyer-Griffith said: "Let no scourge, no crime, no burden make us shirk our collective responsibility in developing our patronage for the next generation. Let us present them with the Christmas gift of the love we share for our great land."
She also urged members of the People's Partnership coalition–UNC, TOP, NJAC and COP–to continue to work together at "building and strengthening this burgeoning relationship."Dyer-Griffith said she prayed that "our various teams may understand and appreciate the many challenges that lie before us, and would rally together as one team, with different perspectives, with one mission."
