People in central and south-west Trinidad could get less water than usual over the next 48 hours.
The disruption in water service is due to planned electrical maintenance work at Desalcott, arelease from the Water and Sewerage Authority (Wasa) said.
Areas affected includeCaroni, Felicity, Charlieville, Cunupia, Chaguanas, Carapichaima, Point Lisas, Couva, Claxton Bay, Vistabella, Marabella, Gasparillo, San Fernando, Gulf View, Duncan Village, Pleasantville, Union Hall, La Romaine, Palmiste, Phillipine, Woodland, South Oropouche, Rousillac, La Brea, Avocat, Fyzabad, Siparia, De Gannes Village and Penal.
Wasa will set up temporary supply schedules and the truck borne supply will also be provided as required,the release said.
The release outlined various times between May 24 and 28 when the California reservoir will be filled, and theCaroni Water Treatment Plant will be used to supplement the supply to the Point Lisas Industrial Estate.
Temporary schedules will be lifted after May 28, the release said.
