Jenny Toussaint says she was trying to call her 55-year-old mother Grace Toussaint last night, and when she didn't get through, she decided to visit her at the family home, in case something was wrong.
Nothing could prepare her for what she encountered at theChatham South Trace home around 6.30 this morning.
The bodies of Grace, her husband Peter Baptiste, her son Jeremy Toussaint, and her mother Lena Peters were in one room of the house. All four had been shot dead.
Comforting Jenny at the scene was her husband Patrick Jouba.
Investigators said the evidence suggested that the family had been gathered in the room and killed there some time between last night and this morning.
Police also suspect a link between the quadruple murder and the killing of Stephon Sinnette, 33 on July 8. Sinnette wasalso gunned down at his Chatham South Trace home.
