Acid attacker still on the run
After two days of combing San Fernando for a La Romaine man wanted in connection with dousing a mother of three with acid, Southern Division police are now seeking the assistance of the public in finding him.
According to a senior police official, the police have been looking for Ronald Bissoon for the past two days without success.
Yesterday, police released his photo, hop-ing members of the pub-lic would come forward with information regarding his whereabouts.
Police say Bissoon is a person of interest in the case of Rachel Chadee.
Chadee, also of La Romaine, was attacked by a man who broke into her home at dawn on Monday, armed with a knife, two bottles of acid, rope and rolls of duct tape.
Anyone with informa-tion on Bissoon’s where-abouts can call the San Fernando CID at 652-2564 or any police sta-tion.
