This coun­try's newest Lot­to mul­ti-mil­lion­aire snagged the boun­ty in St James, tak­ing home over $10 mil­lion from Sat­ur­day's draw.

The play­er matched the win­ning num­bers of 17, 22, 25, 31, 33 and the Power­ball num­ber 10 when they pur­chased a tick­et from Rustop Lim­it­ed, Long Cir­cu­lar Mall, St James, hours be­fore the 8.30 pm draw, tak­ing home $10,359,357.22.

That means the Lot­to Plus jack­pot starts afresh this week, with a min­i­mum guar­an­teed jack­pot of $2 mil­lion to be drawn this Wednes­day. Two lucky play­ers matched five num­bers with­out the power­ball.

They each won $15,338.90. There­fore, the five out of 35 jack­pot with­out the power­ball is now es­ti­mat­ed at $10,000 for Wednes­day's draw.

A to­tal of 25 play­ers matched four num­bers and the power­ball to win $905.24. And 188 play­ers matched four num­bers to win $232.72, 564 play­ers matched three num­bers and the power­ball to win $24.29 and 5,784 won one free Quick Pick for match­ing three num­bers.

In past few years, mul­ti-mil­lion dol­lar jack­pots were sold in var­i­ous lo­ca­tions across the coun­try.

The win­ner of the $20.4 mil­lion Lot­to jack­pot in 2013 bought the win­ning tick­et in Ste Madeleine.

The win­ning tick­et for the $16.8 mil­lion was pur­chased in Dun­can Vil­lage, San Fer­nan­do, in No­vem­ber 2012.

An­oth­er play­er who won the Lot­to jack­pot of $9.2 mil­lion in De­cem­ber 2012, pur­chased the tick­et at Nu Kar Au­to Shop at the Falls at West­mall in West­moor­ings.
