Nafeesa in hot water after FB post
Nafeesa Mohammed may have her portfolio as one of the Prime Minister’s senior legal advisors adjusted following a post she made to Facebook, CNC3 reported last night.
Mohammed is the relative of one of the men held and eventually released in connection with the terrorist threat to disrupt Carnival.
When CNC3 contacted Mohammed she refused to comment only saying that she is expecting a letter tomorrow.
However, CNC3 understands that Mohammed was asked to resign following a post on social media which was deemed unacceptable by the Government.
The post which has since been deleted reportedly mentioned allegations of a cabal within the ruling People’s National Movement which may be pushing an anti-Islamic agenda for political gain.
CNC3 attempted to contact the Office of the Prime Minister but all calls to the press department went unanswered.
