A 20-year-old man was killed in a col­li­sion on the south­bound lane of the Sir Solomon Ho­choy High­way near the Army Base on Sat­ur­day night.

Around 8:35pm, Isa­iah Teelucks­ingh of Fyz­abad was dri­ving a Nis­san Ce­firo when it crashed in­to a wreck­er that was par­tial­ly on the shoul­der of the high­way. His ve­hi­cle was ex­ten­sive­ly dam­aged, and he was pro­nounced dead at the scene.

Two oth­er dri­vers, Kr­ish­na Bal­ram of Gas­par­il­lo and Ravi Caz­abon of Wood­land, were in­jured in the crash and tak­en to hos­pi­tal for treat­ment.
