A teenag­er was among three peo­ple gunned down in Mara­bel­la and Cou­va be­fore cur­few on Fri­day.

The vic­tims have been iden­ti­fied as Mk­weli Pas­cal, 17, Caliph Khan, 37 and Hu­bert An­drews, 43.

Po­lice re­ports in­di­cat­ed that around 9.45 pm, a 34-year-old woman was walk­ing along Old Train Line near the bridge with her four-year-old daugh­ter when she heard loud ex­plo­sions.

The woman got scared and ran with her daugh­ter to a friend's house. When she got there, she re­alised that she had an in­jury to her left leg near her knee. She called the po­lice. When the po­lice ar­rived, they found Pas­cal's body on the road. Po­lice said he was a stu­dent, and they are look­ing at re­venge as the pos­si­ble mo­tive.

The oth­er two men were gunned down in Cou­va around 7 pm. Ac­cord­ing to a re­port, the po­lice re­spond­ed to a re­port of loud ex­plo­sions at Par­adise Av­enue, Cal­cut­ta No 3, Mc Bean. They found Khan's body on the road with gun­shot wounds. An­drews was tak­en to the Cou­va Dis­trict Hos­pi­tal where he was pro­nounced dead around 7.45 pm. An­drews was a ma­son and labour­er, while Khan was a re­al es­tate agent. They both lived at Par­adise Av­enue. Of­fi­cers of the Homi­cide Bu­reau are in­ves­ti­gat­ing.
