Homicide officers are currently investigating a triple murder in Penal which occurred shortly after 8 pm on Sunday along Fazal Avenue, Penal.
Police said the three male occupants of a vehicle which was shot up are still unidentified at this time.
The men, two of African descent and the other East Indian, were reportedly sitting in a parked silver Mazda 3 car when they were fired upon at point blank range.
Residents reported hearing more than a dozen gunshots during the attack.
The bodies of the men were found slumped inside the vehicle. One of them lay on the car’s horn, which was blaring when residents went to investigate.
Videos and photos circulated on social media, an hour after the killings.
The men are not believed to be from the Penal district. Homicide officers are continuing investigations.
