Miss World Trinidad and Tobago Aché Abrahams continued her victory tour around the country yesterday, meeting with Chief Secretary Farley Augustine in Tobago.
She arrived in Tobago during the morning period to pay a courtesy visit to Augustine.
On March 9, Abrahams copped the Miss World Caribbean title at the 71st Miss World pageant in India. She was also in the pageant’s top four finalists.
She arrived on the island just after 8.30 am and was greeted by officials from the Tobago House of Assembly and Miss Tobago 2024 Renessa Ortiz. Ortiz will represent Tobago in the upcoming Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago competition.
Abrahams shared a light moment with Ortiz, and briefly told Guardian Media she was excited to be on the island.
She then met with the Chief Secretary.
She returned to T&T on March 18 to a hero’s welcome at the Piarco International Airport. Since then, Abrahams has been meeting with some of this country’s top officials, including President Christine Kangaloo and Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley.
The 24-year-old also visited and toured Guardian Media, meeting with several television and radio personalities, journalists and other media practitioners.
