Police are investigating a report of larceny after a Diego Martin woman reported her boyfriend withdrew $5,000 in cash from her account, without her permission following an argument.
The 37-year-old woman of River Estate in Diego Martin reported being at the man’s house at Mc Kai Gardens in Belmont – around 7 am on November 26 – when they got into an argument.
Shortly after, the man, unknowing to the victim took her Scotiabank debit card along with $1,000 in cash and her Samsung A06 cellphone which had been in her handbag and left the house in her white Nissan March.
The victim was alerted later that day via an email from Scotia Bank that $5,000 cash had been withdrawn from her account.
