Thieves made off with a television and laptop after breaking into a church in Claxton Bay over the weekend.
A deacon of the Forres Park Seventh Day Adventist Church at Sum Sum Hill arrived at the church yesterday morning and discovered the back door open.
They believe the bandits gained entry into the church by cutting the burglar-proof of a window.
The thieves also stole a remote and HDMI cord. This was the fourth time that bandits targeted the church in 35 years, but the first incident in ten years.
Officers from the St Margaret’s Police Station are investigating.
