Homicide investigators are still trying to determine a motive for the murder of a barber in La Romaine.
A report stated that residents of Beach Avenue, Rambert Village found Russel Pardasie bleeding inside his apartment around 6.10 am, Thursday after noticing that his door was left open overnight. They contacted the police, and when officers arrived, Pardasie was already dead from a single gunshot wound to his head. Crime Scene Investigators recovered one bullet casing near his body.
Neighbours said Pardaisie lived in East Trinidad but moved into the apartment in August. He would leave early for work and return home late. He has relatives living in the community, but they declined to speak about his death.
