Opening hours for the beaches have been extended by two hours and people can now access the seaside from 5 am to 2 pm starting from Monday.
Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley announced the extended hours during the Government's COVID-19 update at the Diplomatic Centre on Saturday.
The Prime Minister also lifted the ban on all rivers within the same restrictions governing beaches, that is no alcohol, no loud music, no parties, no fires and no gatherings over ten.
Rowley said that according to checks with the medical team there was no explosion of COVID-19 number since beaches have been reopened.
"And since we got a good result so far we can go a little further," he said.
Rowley also said that he was expected to meet with the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) chief secretary Farley Augustine to discuss the restricted reopening of reef tours.
"I am anticipating that we can do that," he said.
In Trinidad, the swamp tours would also be reopened with restrictions.
"Having accepted that we have to live with the virus, let us see how much we can do in the living safely and sensibly," he said.
