One man is dead and three others wounded following a shooting in the Bethel area.
The incident occurred on Monday night just after 8pm.
The deceased has been identified as pensioner Ryan Thornhill 61 of Bethel, Tobago.
The three others have been identified as Enoch O'Brien, Bobby Roberts, and Deon Thomas.
They were all conveyed to the Scarborough General Hospital shortly after the incident.
Guardian Media understands that the men were part of a gathering at Egypt Junction, when a masked man in dark clothing fired shots into the crowd.
Residents scampered but when the dust settled four people were wounded. Thornhill, O'Brien, Roberts and Thomas were shot in their chests and stomachs.
They were all rushed to the Scarborough General Hospital but Thornhill succumbed to his injuries while undergoing emergency treatment.
Roberts and Thomas underwent emergency surgery and were listed as critical, while O'Brien's condition was reported as serious, but stable.
Officers from the Tobago Homicide Bureau are continuing investigations.
This is Tobago's first murder for 2021.
