Stick fighting made a comeback at the Couva Carnival Monday Night Mas after an absence of several years.

The bois group from Mc Bean Couva opened the night’s proceedings at the Couva carpark and piqued the interest of the crowd, getting them ready with some entertaining blows.

The Drunken Runaway Sailors had the crowd laughing and almost in stitches with their moves which included a skit.

The Moko Jumbies took over with their portrayal of Majestic Spiritual Colors by Natasha Simon.

Carli Bay First Citizens Orginal Jab Jab made their presence felt before reaching on stage by cracking their whips as they made their way from the Couva Main Road to the venue. Their presentation was Ancestral Warriors by their band leader Ronald Alfred.

Madness Crew from Chase Village presented the Sky is the Limit, crossing the stage last with its king and queen.
