A Port-of-Spain man was stabbed to death yesterday during a suspected domestic dispute.
Police identified the victim as Michael “Boy Boy” Francis.
Investigators said around 10 am, Francis and a close female relative were involved in an argument at their George Street apartment, and as tensions escalated, the woman reportedly grabbed a knife and began stabbing Francis about the body.
Police and medical officials responded and found Francis dead at the scene.
The woman has since been taken into custody.
And in a separate incident at Blue Basin in Diego Martin, two men were shot and wounded.
A 29-year-old man of Blue Basin Road, Diego Martin, was shot in the left side of the chest, while an 18-year-old man of La Horquetta was shot in the upper back.
Police said the men were sitting outside a house in the area when a gunman opened fire on them.
The two remain hospitalised in stable condition.
