Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing a break-in at the D’Abadie Open Bible Stan­dard Church at Reid Lane Ex­ten­sion, D’Abadie, which took place on Sat­ur­day, No­vem­ber 25.

Kevin La Bor­de, 48, of Bre­gon Park, D’Abadie, re­port­ed to po­lice that at 1:30 pm on Sat­ur­day, he locked and se­cured all doors and win­dows, as well as en­abled the B-mo­bile Alarm sys­tem at the church build­ing be­fore leav­ing the premis­es.

La Bor­de told po­lice that at about 2:30 am on Sun­day, he re­ceived a call from B-mo­bile Se­cu­ri­ty in­form­ing him that the alarm for the church had been trig­gered.  

At about 4 am, he went to the church and dis­cov­ered that the prop­er­ty’s se­cu­ri­ty cam­eras were dam­aged, the door on the north­ern side of the prop­er­ty had been pried open, and the of­fices of the church had been ran­sacked.

La Bor­de al­so saw that the alarm box, which is sit­u­at­ed in­side the prop­er­ty, had been re­moved.

North­ern Di­vi­sion CSI of­fi­cers are in­ves­ti­gat­ing.
