Bandits made off with flood relief items which were stored at the Arima Church of Nazarene.
Workers at the church's kitchen left the items secured on Thursday night, but when they arrived at around 8 am on Friday, they discovered the kitchen had been broken into and the items were missing.
The items had been donated by members of public who had donated clothing and food items for victim's of the massive flooding last weekend.
They were unable to state the exact value or the quantity of the items stolen.
WPC Pamponette of Arima Police station is continuing investigations.
