Caribbean Airlines is expanding its regional and international network with the introduction of direct flights between Tobago and Toronto, the resumption of commercial passenger services to Caracas, Venezuela, and charter flights to Panama.
In a media release on Friday, the airline announced that the new services would begin in October, with additional flights to Panama scheduled for the Christmas and Carnival periods.
The expansion includes a weekly non-stop service between Tobago and Toronto, Canada, beginning October 25. The flights will operate on Sundays, providing a direct connection between Tobago and one of Canada’s major international markets.
The airline said the service would support family visits and tourism while strengthening air connectivity between Tobago and Canada ahead of the peak winter travel season.
The announcement comes as the airline seeks to provide travellers with more options for leisure, business and family trips while supporting tourism and trade.
Caribbean Airlines will also resume commercial passenger flights between Trinidad and Caracas from October 31, restoring direct air connectivity between the two neighbouring countries.
The airline said the service would facilitate business travel and tourism, although it did not provide details on the frequency of the Caracas flights.
Meanwhile, travellers will have additional options for reaching Panama during the busy Christmas and Carnival seasons, with Caribbean Airlines set to operate a series of charter flights between Trinidad and Panama from December 1 to February 9, 2027.
The charter flights will operate on selected Tuesdays and Fridays, providing additional capacity during the festive period.
The airline said the services were intended to offer greater travel flexibility while supporting tourism and trade between Trinidad and Panama.
The expansion adds to Caribbean Airlines’ regional and international operations as it seeks to strengthen connectivity for passengers travelling between Trinidad and Tobago, the Caribbean and international destinations.
The airline has encouraged customers to follow its official communication channels for further information on flight schedules, fares and booking availability.
The new services are expected to provide additional travel options for passengers ahead of the upcoming winter holiday season and the 2027 Carnival period.
