The wife of Chief Sec­re­tary Far­ley Au­gus­tine has giv­en birth to a ba­by girl.

Au­gus­tine said she had to un­der­go an emer­gency C-Sec­tion last week Tues­day amid com­pli­ca­tions and oth­er health chal­lenges.

How­ev­er, speak­ing with re­porters to­day Au­gus­tine said both moth­er and daugh­ter are do­ing well.

He said he is grate­ful to God.

"It is chal­leng­ing so if you see me falling asleep in any pub­lic event just know that the lack of sleep is ob­vi­ous­ly there."
