Panama-based carrier Copa Airlines will increase service to Port of Spain, Trinidad (POS) from June 5th, 2024. The airline will fly to and from POS ten times weekly, up from seven daily flights. Copa Airlines will use a mixture of Boeing 737 aircraft on the route, with the largest, the Boeing 737 MAX 9, able to hold up to 174 passengers in a 2-class configuration.

According to a media release, the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and the Arts, as well as the Airports Authority of Trinidad & Tobago (AATT), the Ministry of Works and Transport, and Tourism Trinidad Ltd have been working to increase airlift to Trinidad by way of strategic alliances with Copa Airlines and other airlines that serve Latin America. The ministry says this latest increase in service allows for more access to the Panama market and opportunities for increased leisure and trade links.

Copa Airlines, the flag carrier of Panama, has been ramping up its network expansion plans and now flies to 85 destinations in 32 countries across Central, South, North America, and the Caribbean. Less than a month ago, the airline announced plans to fly to three new destinations - Tulum, Mexico, Florianopolis, Brazil, and Raleigh-Durham, USA.

During my consultation with Ms Brafit CEO Nicole Joseph-Chin, what was supposed to be a simple mastectomy bra fitting became something much deeper. Her thoughtful questions unlocked emotions I didn’t even realise I was holding in. She comforted, reassured, and helped me face the truth of what was coming. That bra wasn’t just clothing—it was the first real symbol of life after surgery.
