Three po­lice of­fi­cers have been de­tained as part of an on­go­ing probe in­to al­leged crim­i­nal con­duct.

Guardian Me­dia un­der­stands that around 9 am yes­ter­day, of­fi­cers of the Pro­fes­sion­al Stan­dards Bu­reau (PSB) went to the Mal­oney Po­lice Sta­tion, where the of­fi­cers are as­signed.

The of­fi­cers, who were on du­ty at the time, were ar­rest­ed, and their lock­ers at the sta­tion were searched.

They re­mained de­tained up to late yes­ter­day and were ex­pect­ed to be in­ter­ro­gat­ed by de­tec­tives. — DA
