Po­lice are once again call­ing on the pub­lic to come for­ward to help iden­ti­fy the de­com­pos­ing body of a man, which was re­trieved from the Paria Bay Wa­ter­fall in Blan­chisseuse on Oc­to­ber 6.

The Trinidad and To­ba­go Po­lice Ser­vice re­newed its call for cit­i­zens to help yes­ter­day af­ter no one con­tact­ed po­lice to pro­vide any in­for­ma­tion that would help to piece to­geth­er who the per­son was and how he met his death.

The nude and bloat­ed body was first sight­ed on Oc­to­ber 6, fol­low­ing which a search par­ty com­prised of po­lice of­fi­cers from the Blan­chisseuse Po­lice Sta­tion, the T&T Coast Guard, and fire of­fi­cers from the San­ta Cruz Fire Sta­tion Search and Res­cue Team, went to the area and re­cov­ered the body.

Guardian Me­dia was told the body of the vic­tim, who had a ras­ta hair­style, bore what ap­peared to be chop wounds to the neck.

The body re­mains at the Foren­sic Sci­ence Cen­tre, St James.
