A se­cu­ri­ty guard is fight­ing for his life at hos­pi­tal, af­ter he was stabbed mul­ti­ple times by five men in Port-of-Spain, yes­ter­day. Po­lice have iden­ti­fied the vic­tim as Oba Wynn, of Pro­duc­tion Dri­ve in Sea Lots. Asst Com­mis­sion­er of Po­lice Bar­net May­ers said he was pass­ing in the area when he ob­served a com­mo­tion in­side of the gro­cery. May­ers said he stopped to in­ves­ti­gate and learnt that Wynn was stabbed by five men who had chased him through the streets of the city. The vic­tim, May­ers said, fled the es­tab­lish­ment and was chased along Bri­an Lara Prom­e­nade in­to the gro­cery. He was corned in a store­room on an up­per floor and stabbed. Two sus­pects were held, while three oth­ers man­aged to es­cape. PC Ram­dath of Port-of-Spain CID is in­ves­ti­gat­ing.
