An ex­ec­u­tive with 96.1FM has been charged with fraud. Ac­counts ex­ec­u­tive Nicole Main ap­peared be­fore a Port-of-Spain Mag­is­trate yes­ter­day and was grant­ed bail. Po­lice said she was ar­rest­ed on Wednes­day at the sta­tion on Tra­garete Road, Port-of-Spain, af­ter it was al­leged that mon­ey was miss­ing from the sta­tion. The charges were laid by Cpl Popan.

Main has been af­fil­i­at­ed with the ra­dio sta­tion for the past 16 years. Chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer of the sta­tion, An­tho­ny Chow Lin On, al­so con­firmed that Main ap­peared in court yes­ter­day. It was al­so con­firmed an­oth­er em­ploy­ee was de­tained for ques­tion­ing. A tele­phone in­ter­view with Supt Joseph of the Fraud Squad con­firmed that the Main is due to reap­pear in court on Feb­ru­ary 3.
