A hunt has been launched for a man who po­lice be­lieve is a se­r­i­al rapist, af­ter four women were at­tacked in Point Fortin.

The lat­est at­tack oc­curred at Frisco Junc­tion around mid­day on Mon­day. Po­lice said one of the vic­tims and her 18-year-old niece were sex­u­al­ly as­sault­ed at an up­stairs busi­ness place.

Sources said the teenag­er went to her aunt's store to have lunch when a cut­lass-wield­ing man walked in. The man threat­ened to slit the teenag­er's throat, be­fore forc­ing her in­to a back room.

He then crim­i­nal­ly as­sault­ed both women and fled on foot. Both vic­tims were tak­en to the Point Fortin hos­pi­tal where they were ex­am­ined. Po­lice re­leased a sketch of the sus­pect yes­ter­day, and as­sured that pa­trols had been beefed-up.
