C&W Com­mu­ni­ca­tions (C&W) has an­nounced that it has joined the Mi­crosoft Di­rect Cloud So­lu­tion Provider (CSP) pro­gramme to bring greater choice and new ca­pa­bil­i­ties of val­ue-added for its busi­ness cus­tomers.

It said a Di­rect Cloud So­lu­tion Provider, C&W has con­sis­tent­ly demon­strat­ed its ex­per­tise with Mi­crosoft tech­nolo­gies and will now pro­vide Azure Man­aged Ser­vices and sup­port to its cus­tomers in Trinidad.

A news re­lease quot­ed Nico­las Col­lette, C&W’s Chief Com­mer­cial Of­fi­cer – Busi­ness Mar­kets as say­ing, “We are ex­cit­ed to now be a Mi­crosoft Di­rect Cloud So­lu­tion Provider, and we are proud of this dis­tinc­tion as it speaks to our trust­ed ex­per­tise with the lat­est tech­nolo­gies and to our abil­i­ty to de­liv­er the high­est qual­i­ty user ex­pe­ri­ence to our busi­ness cus­tomers.”

He de­scribed the col­lab­o­ra­tion with Mi­crosoft as a “su­pe­ri­or com­mit­ment to our clients.”

He said, “We are pro­vid­ing su­pe­ri­or in­no­va­tion, su­pe­ri­or or­gan­i­sa­tion, and fun­da­men­tal so­lu­tions to our cus­tomers and part­ners. We’re en­abling dig­i­tal trans­for­ma­tion in the re­gion.”

“C&W can now of­fer our busi­ness cus­tomers ac­cess to its unique Cloud Man­age­ment Plat­form, which en­sures cus­tomers have a choice of dif­fer­ing Cloud providers, in­clud­ing Azure, from a sin­gle uni­fied in­ter­face. This pow­er­ful dash­board man­ages re­sources and de­ploy­ments across all pub­lic, pri­vate, and hy­brid cloud stacks from a sin­gle win­dow, em­pow­er­ing C&W to de­vel­op and de­liv­er more in­fra­struc­ture as a Ser­vice so­lu­tion to its cus­tomers” said Pe­ter Spratt, C&W’s Di­rec­tor for Cloud & Da­ta Cen­tre Ser­vices, he al­so said.

C&W’s Re­gion­al Da­ta Cen­tres are linked via a ful­ly meshed MPLS net­work that spans 35 coun­tries over 65,000km with the largest sub­sea mul­ti-ring fiber-op­tic net­work through­out the greater Caribbean, Cen­tral Amer­i­ca, and the An­dean re­gion.
