Sascha Wil­son

A 41-year-old dri­ver was killed and an­oth­er in­jured dur­ing a smash-up along the M2 Ring Road in Debe.

The de­ceased has been iden­ti­fied as Sel­wyn Khan of Debe Trace, Debe.

The ac­ci­dent oc­curred around 1:15 pm along the M2 Ring Road, Gand­hi Vil­lage, Debe. Ini­tial re­ports in­di­cate around 1:15 pm Khan was dri­ving a can­ter truck along when an­oth­er truck, head­ing in the op­po­site di­rec­tion, skid­ded on the wet road and slammed in­to Khan's truck.

Khan died at the scene. The oth­er dri­ver suf­fered in­juries and is be­ing treat­ed at the San Fer­nan­do Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal.
