A re­volver, sev­er­al rounds of am­mu­ni­tion, and a quan­ti­ty of cannabis were seized by of­fi­cers of the North East­ern Di­vi­sion dur­ing a fo­cused an­ti-crime op­er­a­tion in the Mor­vant dis­trict on Fri­day, May 16, 2025.

Ac­cord­ing to a TTPS re­lease, the op­er­a­tion tar­get­ed high-risk ar­eas, in­clud­ing 2nd Cale­do­nia and Pitch Road. 

Of­fi­cers con­duct­ed tar­get­ed search­es of known drug blocks, aban­doned struc­tures, and bushy ar­eas with­in these lo­ca­tions.

As a re­sult of the search­es:

One (.38 Spe­cial) re­volver was found and seized in a bushy area along Pitch Road near the WASA Pump Sta­tion.

A black plas­tic bag dis­cov­ered in the low­er Pitch Road area near Co­conut Dri­ve con­tained:

Six (6) rounds of 5.56 mm am­mu­ni­tion

28 grams of plant cannabis

No ar­rests were made in con­nec­tion with the seizures. 

In­ves­ti­ga­tions are on­go­ing and are be­ing led by PC Prov­i­dence.
